Recreation Ground Toilets         

Wem Town Council has agreed to take on the ownership of the toilet block on Wem Recreation Ground from Shropshire Council.

The toilet block has been closed for 12 years and is in a poor condition. As part of the Town Council’s commitment to improve facilities for residents and visitors to the town,  the Council is pleased to announce that it will be reopening the disabled toilet in the block for use by the public.

Work will be starting in the next few weeks to modernise the facility and once complete the toilet will be open on a seasonal basis over the summer months.
