Anti-Social Behaviour Reporting
15th November 2016

Located within the Community Protection Team is a small team that works solely on issues of Anti-Social Behaviour within the Shropshire Council area. They work in partnership with the police, housing associations and other involved agencies in local areas in order to try to deliver a cohesive response to incidents of Anti-Social Behaviour.

Anti-social behaviour is a fundamentally local issue that can have an extremely negative impact on people’s quality of life. It affects individuals as well as communities and neighbourhoods, and can be targeted at those members of the community who are least able to protect themselves.  It can take many forms, including:

  • playing loud music in the early hours of the morning
  • graffiti and vandalism
  • offensive and threatening behaviour
  • harassment and intimidationfly-tipping and fly-posting

Community safety concerns are taken very seriously and you are encouraged to report anti-social behaviour when it occurs.

If you or someone else is at risk or a crime has being committed please call the police on 101, in the event of an emergency call 999.

Reports of Anti-Social Behaviour can be reported via the Single reporting Line on 0345 678 9020

All calls are treated sensitively. Anti-social behaviour can be reported confidentially but in some cases details are needed in order to respond to the anti-social behaviour being reported and to provide support to the victim.
